Tamara Gauldin

Tamara Gauldin is a Director of Legal Recruiting and Placement and works out of Latitude’s Nashville office.  

In this role, she helps experienced attorneys and other legal professionals transition into flexible engagements as well as permanent positions, aligning their expertise with the needs of leading corporate legal departments and law firms.  

Before joining Latitude, Tamara held multiple leadership roles at a Fortune 500 financial services company and leading property and casualty insurance carrier. Most recently, she served as an insurance executive, playing a key leadership role in driving operational and strategic priorities across the auto property organization. In this capacity, she partnered closely with executive leadership to shape strategy, enhance organizational effectiveness, and support enterprise-wide initiatives. 

Earlier at the same organization, Tamara served as in-house Managing Attorney, where she led a team of legal professionals, guided litigation strategies, and strengthened partnerships with clients, customers, and senior leaders. She also served as Senior Staff Counsel, handling complex commercial and personal lines matters, including employment law, workers’ compensation, premise liability, fire loss, and all aspects of litigation. Tamara also has significant jury trial experience across West, Middle, and East Tennessee and has successfully briefed and argued cases before the Tennessee Court of Appeals.  

Tamara has been recognized for her leadership within the insurance and legal industries, including receiving the Career Mastered Leadership Award.  

She earned her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and social work from Union University where she was a collegiate basketball athlete. She is licensed to practice law in Tennessee.  

Tamara is actively involved in community engagement and leadership development initiatives focused on empowerment and professional growth. She lives in the Nashville area and enjoys meaningful community work, cultivating future leaders, and supporting organizations that strengthen the broader community.
