Jason is the leader and founding Partner of Latitude’s Houston office.

In a legal career that has spanned nearly two decades, Jason has advised companies of all sizes in various matters, including finance, corporate governance, and securities. His roles include senior positions at public and private companies and an AmLaw 100 firm. Jason has been a trusted advisor to companies at all stages of their journey.

Prior to joining Latitude, Jason served as Associate General Counsel of Sunnova where he advised the company on debt and equity transactions, public reporting matters and the company’s restructuring. His previous in-house experience includes senior roles in the energy and renewables sectors and he began his career as an associate in the Finance group at the Houston office of Vinson & Elkins LLP.

As a believer in the obligation to ensure legal protections are available to communities and groups which have been historically prevented from accessing necessary assistance, Jason has also provided pro bono representation in the areas of estate planning, family law, and immigration to his fellow Houstonians.

Jason earned his J.D. at The University of Texas School of Law after spending his undergraduate years a few blocks over at the University of Texas undergraduate campus, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Government.

Jason is a native Houstonian who will always champion the city and what it represents. He currently lives in one of Houston’s many suburbs with his wife, Cindel, and their son. The three of them can often be found gathered around the table playing games or on the couch watching the latest Star Wars release. Jason is an avid fan of Arsenal F.C., the Texas Longhorns, and any team that wears Houston across the chest.
