Latitude is seeking experienced data privacy and security attorneys to work on assignment with some of Latitude’s leading corporations in a variety of industries. Applicants must have extensive knowledge of global privacy and data security laws, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as well as state data breach notification laws and data security standards. Prior experience working at a large corporate law firm and/or in-house with a major company is preferred. CIPP/E and CIPP/US certifications are a plus.

Minimum Requirements for the Data Privacy/Data Protection Attorney:

3+ years as a data privacy attorney with a large corporate law firm and/or a large corporate legal department
Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school
Outstanding references
Licensed to practice law and in good standing in state of residence

Compensation:
Pay: The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 or more when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).

Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
