Applicants must have extensive experience structuring, drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide variety of commercial contracts, including sales, vendor and procurement, IT, marketing, supply, logistics, consulting services, etc. Prior experience working at an Am Law 200 corporate law firm or a large corporate legal department is preferred.

Basic Requirements for the Latitude Commercial Contracts Consulting Attorney:
5+ years of commercial contracting experience
Significant experience drafting, negotiating and reviewing complex commercial contracts in a wide variety of industries
Prior experience practicing in the corporate practice group of a large full service law firm or well-respected boutique is highly preferred
Prior in-house experience is highly preferred for many opportunities
Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills as well as the flexibility and emotional intelligence needed to successfully “parachute in” to meet a client’s needs
Licensed to practice law
Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
Outstanding professional references
Position Details of the Latitude Commercial Contracts Consulting Attorney:
Type of role: Contract engagement or engagement-to-hire
Schedule: Flexible (full-time, part-time or anywhere in between)
Location: Tampa-St. Pete Metropolitan Area (remote, hybrid, or on-site)
Compensation: Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $150,000 to $200,000+ when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude Attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
