Latitude is looking for an attorney with 3-5 years of sophisticated commercial litigation experience who is eager to work on complex commercial litigation cases representing a variety of clients in both state and federal courts, including prominent Fortune 500 corporations, sovereigns, former heads of state, athletes, and high-net worth individuals. This is a full-time position. The successful candidate should enjoy working as part of an energetic team and will be expected to assist on complex litigation matters at all stages of litigation, up to trial work.

Responsibilities of the Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney – Sophisticated Boutique Firm

• Efficiently and competently research complicated legal issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, discovery requests and responses, legal correspondence, etc.
• Handle all aspects of discovery, including taking depositions
• Communicate clearly both orally and in writing

Requirements for the Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney – Sophisticated Boutique Firm

• 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience at a large firm or sophisticated boutique
• J.D. from an accredited, preferably first-tier, law school
• Licensed in Florida
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-service-driven law firm setting
• Outstanding references
• Experience in federal court is a plus
• Federal clerkship experience is preferred
• Spanish fluency is a plus
