Latitude Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 17, 2023)Latitude, a globally ranked flexible legal talent company that specializes in providing former Big Law and in-house attorneys for contract engagements with legal departments and law firms, celebrates its tenth anniversary. This milestone is a testament to the organization’s unwavering commitment to world class peer-to-peer client service experiences and matching outstanding attorneys with rewarding in-house and law firm engagement-based and permanent roles.

Latitude CEO Ross Booher and other founding members launched the company in 2013, with a mission to create a collaborative company that provides peer-to-peer client service to outstanding attorneys, law firms, and legal departments by employing and providing top-tier experienced attorneys on-demand. They recognized that law firms and corporate legal departments alike often needed to quickly add associate-, counsel-, and partner-level attorneys who could seamlessly work with their team, and that a growing number of highly successful attorneys enjoy the flexibility and boundaries of flexible work engagements if it includes attractive compensation and full benefits. The founding members also recognized that clients and candidates would benefit from concierge-level service from client service and recruiting team members who were also attorneys, and who had served as senior decision makers in corporate legal departments or highly competitive law firms and understood first-hand the demands they face.

Today, Latitude has grown into a Chambers and Partners globally-ranked legal staffing company with thirty-four corporate employees, eleven offices nationwide, and more than four thousand attorneys across all fifty states. This year, Latitude was also recognized as the #1 legal recruiter in the U.S. by readers of The National Law Journal.

Latitude celebrated this milestone anniversary with a cocktail reception on November 16, 2023, in the company’s headquarter city of Nashville, Tennessee. During the celebratory gathering, Candice Reed, Executive Vice President and Partner in charge of Tennessee operations, delivered a heartfelt toast. She expressed gratitude for the individuals who contributed to the company’s success: “We toast to our clients, who continue to invite us to partner and innovate with them in their efforts to provide responsive, efficient, quality legal services to their own clients and business teams every day. We toast to our attorneys and other legal professionals who have trusted us with their careers. And we toast to our Latitude corporate team members for their energy, enthusiasm, creativity, and care for the work we’re all doing together.”

Latitude CEO Ross Booher expressed his gratitude to Latitude’s clients, legal professionals, corporate team members, and the legal community. “On behalf of the entire Latitude team, I want to thank those who have supported Latitude over the last ten years,” Booher said. “We look forward to continuing to provide consistently high caliber attorneys and exceptional peer-to-peer client service, and to helping our clients and legal professionals achieve their goals for many more years to come.”
