Chad Wold Joins Latitude as a Director of Legal Recruiting & Placement in San Francisco
Former Law Firm COO and Chief Recruiting Officer Brings Strategic Talent Expertise to Latitude’s SFBA Team
SAN FRANCISCO (May 28, 2026) – Latitude announced today that Chad M. Wold has joined the company’s San Francisco office as a Director of Legal Recruiting and Placement.
Latitude is a globally ranked flexible legal staffing company that serves corporate legal departments and law firms by providing experienced former in-house counsel and Big Law attorneys for flexible contract engagements and permanent roles across a wide range of practice areas.
In his role, Wold will work closely with Andrew Cary, leader and founding Partner of Latitude’s San Francisco office, and the broader recruiting team to support legal departments and law firms in California and nationwide. He will play a key role in connecting experienced attorneys with sophisticated engagements and supporting legal teams as they scale to meet evolving business needs.
Wold’s career has consistently focused on helping organizations grow through talent. Most recently, as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Recruiting Officer of a fast-growing regional law firm, he led national attorney recruitment and played a key role in the firm’s strategic expansion. During his tenure, the firm earned consecutive Inc. 5000 rankings as one of the fastest-growing law firms in the United States.
Before that, Wold served as Managing Director and General Counsel in private equity, where he advised on acquisitions, strategic investments, and executive recruitment. He began his legal career by founding a solo practice focused on litigation and business advisory services, an experience that shaped his practical, client-focused approach to both law and talent.

Wold studied business and marketing at the University of Montana and international law at the University of Oxford before earning his law degree from the University of Buckingham.
