Sara McCarty Joins Latitude as a Director of Legal Recruiting and Placement in St Louis

Former Corporate and Securities Attorney Sara McCarty Joins Latitude’s St. Louis Team

ST. LOUIS (Jan. 20, 2026) – Latitude announced today that Sara McCarty has joined the company’s St. Louis office as a Director of Legal Recruiting and Placement.

Latitude is a globally ranked flexible legal staffing company that serves corporate legal departments and law firms by providing experienced former in-house counsel and Big Law attorneys for flexible contract engagements and permanent roles across a wide range of practice areas.

In her role, McCarty will work closely with Carol Davidson, Partner in charge of Latitude’s St. Louis office, to support legal departments and law firms in the St. Louis region and nationwide. Together, they will connect seasoned attorneys with sophisticated engagements and help legal teams scale thoughtfully to meet evolving business demands.

McCarty brings more than 15 years of legal experience spanning corporate governance, securities, and complex transactions. Most recently, she served as Corporate Governance and Securities Counsel at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated (NYSE: RGA), where she advised on board and subsidiary governance matters, commercial and corporate transactions, and public-company securities disclosures. In addition to her legal practice, she built and led an in-house legal internship program and developed internal training initiatives to strengthen the company’s legal talent pipeline.

She began her legal career in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Finance and Securities groups at Am Law 100 firm Bryan Cave LLP, representing public and private companies in a wide range of M&A transactions and negotiating complex commercial agreements.

McCarty earned her J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law and her B.A. in English from the University of Missouri.
