Amber is the leader and founding Partner of Latitude’s Washington, D.C., office.

Amber is an accomplished corporate governance, securities, and M&A attorney with nearly two decades of experience. She has held senior legal roles at several publicly traded companies and practiced at an Am Law 100 firm. With extensive expertise as a change manager, Amber has been a trusted advisor to companies undergoing significant business transformations, including bankruptcy, regulatory compliance matters, M&A, and going-public transactions.

Prior to joining Latitude, Amber was Vice President of Law, Securities & Corporate Governance at Tupperware Brands Corporation, where she played a pivotal role advising the board of directors and senior management concerning the company’s debt restructuring and Chapter 11 bankruptcy transaction. She was also responsible for managing securities compliance, corporate governance, commercial contracts, litigation, employment, equity administration, and external communications-related legal risks. Prior to joining Tupperware, Amber served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at e.l.f. Cosmetics, Inc. where she advised senior management on a wide portfolio of legal matters and advised the company with respect to the negotiation of its first TikTok movie and the #elfitup TikTok challenge in collaboration with a well-known celebrity.

Her earlier in-house experience includes in-house roles at Hims & Hers Health, Inc. and Fannie Mae, where she managed public company readiness matters, M&A transactions, corporate governance, securities compliance, and equity administration. Amber began her legal career as an M&A and corporate associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP.

Amber is deeply committed to community service. She has served as a Guardian ad litem in a child custody case and a Legal Aid DC Housing Law Fellow, she has represented D.C. tenant associations in Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act matters, and she has provided pro bono legal representation to several startup companies. She continues to serve her community through volunteer work with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the Girl Scouts of America.

Amber earned her J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Spanish (cum laude) from Cornell University.

A native Washingtonian, Amber lives in the Washington, D.C., suburbs with her husband, Malcolm, their three talented children, and their labradoodle, Patrick. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, cooking, attending performing and visual arts events, and spending time with her family.
